hmm... i'm not satisfied the way this pic turned out. Somehow i hate the colors and the background sucks (as always xD). Hmm... but i think a gryphon itself turned out nicely, i like his wings :) Now what i need is some constructive comments. Please.

Hmm, can't help you with the background, but the gryphon's neck seems a little awkward near where it joins the body...i dunno, maybe it's just me :/ Anyways, the overall red of the picture is very nice. Burning sunset indeed :D

Really stunning

Maybe you should increase the sky detail

or add more dark color / blue color to purple to the sky

It will make the sky look more real in sunset

Wow, I just started watching you less than an hour ago and I was looking forwards to seeing some of your new art - guess I didn't have to wait long! xD

Anyway,
I'm completely unhelpful and have no real critique to give. I think it's beautiful.

Perhaps, as CanineGirl said, you could add a little more detail to the sky? Except then it wouldn't have the same affect .. soo... I'm just going to go to bed and stop just ranting.

Looking forwards to seeing more of your art! :D

I love him, but I think you're right the cliff above him needs a change. Maybe make it less busy as one large cliff with less details, or just make it all sky, that way your eye is drawn to your awesome griffin. I agree with the above maybe add some other colors to the sky as well.

The gryphon looks very nice. I love its fierce look.
And the wall its laying on is very unique. The dragon head spitting water is a nice touch.

I think it looks great! Maybe one thing to try is more colors in the sky. When the sun gets to that point in the horizon, there's a lot more than just yellow in the sky, and some red tones on the clouds would look awesome! And maybe the stone lines on the mountains are too vertical and too much the same?

Anyways, regardless, incredible picture! I love it!
